The Bannister Hotel is named after Jack Bannister, an English corsair who stood up against the English authorities. In 1690, he fought with two ships against two English frigates on the edge of the island called "Cayo Bannister", later named "Cayo del Levantado”, which is now visited by thousands of tourists.

The hotel opened its doors by the end of 2010, offering a refreshing accommodation option in the north of the country that combines casual luxury with an impressive natural environment. It has 30 elegantly-decorated suites with impressive views towards the mountains, the Marina, and the Samaná Bay.

  • Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?
    Prices vary based on various factors which may be seasonal, day of the week, occupation status of the hotel, promotions, particular fairs in the city and more. The advice, to see the prices, is to enter the dates of your stay and make your own comparisons.
  • Is breakfast always included?
    No, it depends on the rate and on the establishment whether it is organized to offer it or not. Check well before booking what is included and what is not and what type of service is offered.
  • Can I make special requests?

  • What types of beds will I find in the room I have booked?

  • What is Pay in Structural and Payment Pre-Authorization?
    When you book, some establishments offer the possibility to pay directly at the establishment.
