The following refund policy is applicable only for the amount made after the first night - which will be referred below as “Booking Amount”. ★ For cancellations done before more than 15 days prior to check in date: 20% of booking amount will be charged. ★ For Cancellations done between 8 - 14 days prior to check in date: 50% of booking amount will be charged. ★ For cancellations done between 0-7 days prior to check in date: 100% of the booking amount will be charged. ★ No show policy: 100% of booking amount will be charged. The no-show policy will be applied when the guest does not show up at the hotel within 24 hours of his stipulated check in time. In such a case, the reservation will be released. ★ If a package is cancelled, the advance for the activities will be fully refunded but the above mentioned cancellation policy will be applied to the rooms and the the cancellation fee will be deducted from the advance paid for the package. ★ The no-show policy will be applied when the guest does not show up at the hotel within 24 hours of his stipulated check in time. In such a case, the reservation will be released. Exceptions can be made if the guest establishes contact with the hotel management in writing (email) before the room is released. ★ It is up to The Posh Hotel if it wants to inform the guest when the room is released in a case of no show. ★ Please note that by writing an email to us, making an advance payment or booking a room / trek / holiday with us, you accept to the following terms and conditions: ★ The Posh Hotel hotel holds the right to alter the tour schedule in case of bad weather and other conditions beyond our control that might affect the normal itinerary. ★ Meals at the accommodations or other services not utilized during the tour shall be not liable for any kind of refund from the tour price. ★ A minimum of 40% advance payment is required to book the trip on definite basis and the balance payment needs to be cleared one week before the tour starts. In case the pending balance is not paid one week before the tour starts, The Posh Hotel reserves the right to cancel the entire trip and offer no refund to the client. ★ Assumption of Risk: We take your safety very seriously. However, by receiving this document electronically, you (the client) acknowledge that there are risks associated with your road trip / trek with us and that you accept responsibility for engaging in activities that may be hazardous to your health. The Posh Hotel and its owners, employees and contracted associates will not be responsible for any damages, injuries, death, losses, delays, or expenses, whether to person or to property, due to any cause whatsoever. ★ Unless mentioned clearly, our price quotes do not include any medical insurance or any insurance of any kind, charges for permits required by Govt. of India, video cameras, still cameras, entry charges for monasteries / temples, any meals / services / transport transfers not mentioned in the itinerary, alcohol / soft drinks, personal expenses like tips, telephone calls, laundry, etc. or anything that is not mentioned in the final acknowledged itinerary. ★ Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary / stay on account of flight delay / cancellation, bad weather, ill health, roadblocks, strike, mishaps, landslide, political unrest or any other natural calamities and /or any factors beyond control. In such cases, an extra amount will be charged as per actual. ★ Please note that because of the remote nature of some of our trips and destinations in our packages, we cannot provide our clients with a hotel list before we receive an advance deposit to confirm your booking. Hotel availability is subject to change until we confirm your booking with a deposit. All of our Standard and Deluxe accommodation options make use of the best facilities available for the budget in the area and are individually selected by our staff based on quality, comfort and uniqueness of location, a confirmed hotel list will be provided if requested after your advance deposit is received. ★ We are not responsible for last minute accommodation upgrades / changes that results in cancellation fees, the difference in price between your pre-existing hotel reservation and any new booking made on your behalf mid-trip./div

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
  • Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?
    Prices vary based on various factors which may be seasonal, day of the week, occupation status of the hotel, promotions, particular fairs in the city and more. The advice, to see the prices, is to enter the dates of your stay and make your own comparisons.
  • Is breakfast always included?
    No, it depends on the rate and on the establishment whether it is organized to offer it or not. Check well before booking what is included and what is not and what type of service is offered.
  • Can I make special requests?
    Of course, when booking you will have a field where you can write directly to the structure and make your requests. These will be evaluated by the hotel which will answer you directly. In this decision making process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What types of beds will I find in the room I have booked?
    The type of bed is usually specified in the room card. If you have special requests or needs, you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the hotel. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Pay in Structural and Payment Pre-Authorization?
    When you book, some establishments offer the possibility to pay directly at the establishment. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, but without any charge. The sum will be withdrawn from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your reservation. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, to then be charged directly at the same time the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and the payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorised?
    Consulting the balance of your credit card you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your reservation. In other cases and depending on the policy of your Credit Card circuit, you could also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "operation pending". The blocking of the pre-authorization, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of the reservation.
  • How can I cancel or modify my reservation?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your reservation. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
    For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the reservation.
  • How can I get help with my booking?
    Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
  • Are there any Taxes, Local Charges or Extras to be paid directly on site?
    If not clearly indicated in the booking rates or structure policies, payments may be required directly to the structure for tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us via our contact form.

  • Covid 19 Reservations/Cancellations/Change Dates/Refunds:
    For reservations made, we advise you to keep in mind the risk related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the related government measures. If you book a non "flexible" or "non-cancellable" or "non-changeable" rate, you may not be entitled to a refund in the event of cancellation or the r. Any requests for cancellation or date changes will be managed according to the policy of the rate chosen at the time of booking and any laws on consumer protection. In uncertain times like these, MeTour recommends booking with rates that allow free cancellation or date changes, so that if you change plans or restrictions intervene, you can cancel for free until the deadline set by the structure.
  • Covid-19: restrictions and travel advice
    MeTour encourages its Partners to adopt a careful prevention policy against the Covid-19 pandemic, promoting those structures with strict sanitation and control protocols and monitors any situations of contagion by blocking reservations for those particularly affected structures or places. However, not being able to intervene directly on the structures, which are independent of MeTour, the advice Before booking and reaching the structure, is to check if there are travel restrictions in place.
